Insurance Information
At this time, I do not accept insurance. However, I can provide you with an invoice that you may submit to your insurance company for out-of-network reimbursement, depending on your plan.
Why no insurance?
Many insurance companies maintain rigid and often harmful standards for eating disorder treatment coverage, which can leave people without support until their symptoms fit narrow definitions of being “sick enough.” This can especially impact individuals whose struggles may not align with stereotypical presentations of eating disorders, including those in larger bodies or those whose symptoms are less visible. These limitations can also interfere with the depth, consistency, and quality of care available. While I wish deeply that equitable, accessible treatment were fully supported within our healthcare system, my practice is currently private pay in order to provide care that is not dictated by insurance restrictions. If cost is a barrier, I invite you to reach out about my sliding scale availability.

Sliding Scale Availability
I believe that access to quality mental health care should not be limited by financial constraints. That's why I offer a limited number of sliding scale spots for clients who need more affordable rates.
Limited Availability
I maintain a small number of sliding scale slots to ensure I can provide quality care to all clients. Availability is on a first-come, first-served basis.
Why Sliding Scale?
Mental health care is essential, and financial barriers shouldn't prevent anyone from accessing support. Sliding scale pricing is a commitment to equity and accessibility in therapy. To learn more about the approach I take with sliding scale, click here.
If you're interested in sliding scale services, please mention this when reaching out to discuss your needs.
Family-Based Treatment (FBT) for Eating Disorders
FBT is an evidence-based approach primarily used for adolescents with anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, and other eating disorders. It empowers parents to play an active and central role in their child's recovery, focusing on re-establishing healthy eating patterns and weight restoration.
Therapeutic Specializations
Body Image Support
Support with growing a more compassionate relationship with your body, challenging societal standards of beauty and ability, and fostering self-acceptance. We explore the roots of body dissatisfaction and work towards building resilience and self-compassion.
Chronic Illness and Disability Support
Individuals living with chronic illnesses or disabilities need competent care that integrates this understanding of disability. I help clients navigate the emotional, psychological, and social impacts of their conditions, including grief, loss, pain management, identity shifts, and advocating for their needs. Together we can approach the delicate intersections of eating disorders, body image, and chronic illnesses.
Queerness and Transness Support
Affirming and inclusive therapeutic support for LGBTQIA+ individuals. We address unique challenges such as coming out (or not), gender identity exploration, navigating discrimination, relationship dynamics, and fostering a strong sense of self within queer and trans communities. For those in the queer community struggling with eating and body image, we look at how these threads are intertwined.
Creative Arts Therapy
Creative Arts Therapy utilizes visual art as a primary mode of communication and expression. It provides a safe and non-verbal outlet for individuals to explore emotions, reduce stress, improve self-esteem, and gain insight into their experiences.
